Many supply-chain capacity building programmes begin with good intentions but do not lead to long-term positive change. This is due to generic training delivered poorly, prioritising e-learning modules, checklist-style compliance exercises or jumping straight to training without thinking about the audience, what they want, their context and what you want the outcome to be.
This webinar explores why that happens and how to do it differently.
Drawing on real-world experience from Kumi’s work in Bolivia, India, the Middle East and beyond, the session highlights common missteps, such as one-size-fits-all content, lack of follow-up and ignoring local norms and literacy levels, and shows what successful capacity building looks like when it’s tailored, sustained, practical and context-sensitive.
You’ll gain:
• Concrete guidance on designing realistic programmes that speak to the people you’re working with.
• Field-tested tactics for building trust, reinforcing messages and creating lasting change.
• Insights into what works and what doesn’t based on years of hands-on experience.
